Why Virtual 1 on 1 Training?

Now more than ever, it’s crucial that we pay attention to our health both mentally and physically. 

Maybe you’ve already searched online for an exercise program or found a YouTube video to follow along with at home. Great! There is some good material out there but at the same time, there’s a lot of misinformation and so called “specialists” or media influencers that may look good and can do amazing physical feats, but some of these exercises or programs can be potentially dangerous putting you at risk of injury.

With over 20 years of personal training experience, I’ve seen a lot.  I have taken my experience and compared it to what scientific research is telling us and offering a form of exercise that is very effective, time efficient and most importantly safe and can benefit people over their lifetime.

We will work together with the tools you have.  You would be surprised how much we can accomplish with a towel, a chair and some household items.  Whichever tools we have access to, I will be there to supervise you, correct your form and ensure you’re exercising at a higher level of effort than you could on your own.

I’m coach Rich, an experienced personal trainer, founder and creator of WorkFit -a specialized fitness program, author of WorkFit: A Workout Guide for Office Workers and Busy Travelers, and co-founder of Co-Edge Sports League; one of Southern Ontario’s largest recreational sports leagues catered to providing co-ed recreational sports to active adults.

I have been active in all areas of exercise for over 25 years, from participating and coaching disciplines such as CrossFit, Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, Olympic Weightlifting, Gymnastics, Calisthenics and through continued education over these years.

I totally credit Rich for getting me in shape for a six day trek in the mountains of Nepal. When I moved across the country, I wanted to continue my training with him. Virtual training with Rich has worked beautifully. I still get the discipline, encouragement and personal training experience that I would get if I were still in the gym. 


Not being able to exercise at my regular gym has been frustrating but Rich has put me through some great workouts online which he personalized to my fitness level using next to no equipment.


Rich has been coaching us in person for over 10 years now.  The methods that he uses have helped us stay strong and mobile over the years so that we can do the activities we enjoy so much. When we hit the road, Rich prepares sessions that we can do on our own so we never miss a beat. Because of COVID-19 we had to go online and the transition as well as the results have been working really well.
